In March 2013, I installed MOVE! at Alderson-Broaddus College's Daywood Gallery over two weeks. An art+science investigation of self organizing systems, specifically coordinated animal movement, like flocking, hiving, schooling and swarming. The exhibit had a bunch of interactive, low-tech kinetic sculptures. Many students and teachers engaged in the install stage and in continuing interactivities throughout the show run. It was an excellent experience and great working with gallery director Grant Johnson and my partner, Aaron Chantrill, technical wizard.
